Medical records, autopsy reports, photographs and tissue slides, investigation reports, witness statements and other relevant documents may be reviewed with an eye toward rendering, when possible, a scientifically supportable opinion regarding cause and/or manner of death as well as patterns and mechanisms of injury in persons living or dead.
Dr. Andrew is an experienced and skilled trial witness. Complex medical issues are presented to lay jurors in terms easily followed and understood. To date, Dr. Andrew has never been denied expert status at the county, state or federal court level and has offered testimony on a broad range of forensic medical issues.
Specific forensic medical issues may be researched and a summary provided to WMFCS clients who are simply questioning one or more issues in the course of evaluating the merits of a given case or contemplating specific trial strategies.
Occasionally, a client is in need of tissue for diagnostics not performed before death, DNA analysis or other purposes. WMFCS can procure and ship the appropriate specimens as directed.
In rare instances, a complete autopsy may be requested for purposes of addressing forensic medical questions. All such postmortems take place on the campus of Concord Hospital in Concord, NH, thus requiring transportation of the deceased for examination.
Dr. Andrew is a skilled educator and sought-after public speaker. Please refer to our workshops page when planning your meeting or continuing education conference.
